In fact, I was out of country for about two weeks , when floods started in large part of Pakistan. On return I earmarked a sum of rupees 1,250,000/= for helping the affected people. Now my two daughters and son also contributed rupees 250,000/= to the relief project. With mutual consultation at my club, I have arranged food packets and distributed them as under:

A committee was formed under the chairmanship of Rotarian Sheikh Gulzar Hussain to purchase and pack rations, which would be carried to flood affected area in Multan / surrounding area. They took the items to the area and distributed. Yet rupees 100,000/= were contributed by Rotarians for construction of a destroyed mosque in Kot Addu village. |
